Golf Challenges collects nothing about you. There is no account, no analytics, and no server to send anything to.

The short version: everything you type into the app — courses, players, scores, stakes — is written to storage on your own phone and stays there. We never see it, because there is nowhere for it to go.
Nothing. The app has no sign-up, no login, and no user accounts. We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, location, contacts, photos, or any identifier for advertising or analytics.
The app saves what you enter so your rounds are still there next time you open it:
All of it is written to the app's private storage area on your device. It is not uploaded, backed up to us, or shared with anyone. If you delete the app, it goes with it.
Player names are whatever you type. They are labels on a scorecard — the app has no idea whether they refer to real people, and it never tries to match them to anything.
On iPhone, the app can read a photograph of a paper scorecard to save you typing it in. The photograph is processed entirely on your device using the operating system's built-in text recognition. The image is never uploaded, is not stored by the app once you confirm the card, and is not sent to us or to any third party.
The iPhone app includes a directory of golf courses so you can find yours by name. That directory ships inside the app as a file. Searching it does not make a network request and does not tell us — or anyone — what you searched for.
The Android app requests no permissions at all. On iPhone, the app asks for camera access only if you choose to scan a scorecard, and only for that purpose.
The app contains no advertising, no analytics SDK, no crash reporting, and no social or tracking libraries. Nothing about your use of the app is shared with anyone, because nothing about your use of the app leaves your phone.
Apple and Google may collect their own data about downloads and installs through the App Store and Google Play, under their own privacy policies. That is between you and them; we receive no personal information from it.
Golf Challenges does not handle money. It records what players have agreed between themselves, the same as writing it on the back of a paper card. There are no payments, no deposits, no prizes, and nothing to cash out. The app has no payment processing of any kind and never asks for card or bank details.
The app is not directed at children and collects no personal information from anyone, including children.
Data protection laws give you rights to access, correct, export and delete the personal data a company holds about you. We hold none, so there is nothing for us to produce or erase. The data on your phone is yours: delete a round or a course inside the app, or delete the app to remove all of it at once.
If the app ever starts collecting something — it does not today, and there are no plans for it — this page will be updated before that version ships, and the date at the top will change.
